I have started to put together a consulting offering which provides a 10-part VPASP Site Analysis and a Tune-Up after providing several recommendations regarding additional features and functions which could be implemented but have not yet been completed. This first item can be done on your own very quickly and just involves registering with BizRate.com then loading their little pop-up on your site which appears whenever a client clicks on About Us, Contact or Shipping Info or any one of the other Content related items.

Here is their welcome letter after they have reviewed your site and verified all the available features and functions installed at your site. Optionally you could also appear in their Price Comparison Directory by Brand and Model, but that is a cost per click service and unless you really consider yourself to be a high volume deep discounter, you will not show up at the top of their Price Comparison sortings and you will be wasting money.

When you combine this service with SiteMap generation and notifications to Bing, Google, Yahoo, Ask, Shopping.com and Moreover you are on your way to really improving your web presence. Some of the largest and busiest sites in the VPASP network do not have a SiteMap file in the root directory yet or even a robots.txt file which is just amazing to me. With the correct use of robots.txt and 5 versions of a SiteMap file for customer viewing, for RSS feeds, for SiteMaps, your web referrals could double overnight. Next item to be posted is a really nice Live Chat and Live Support system
available with FULL ASP 3.0 Source Code for SQL Server or Access which you host yourself instead of paying someone else $20-$50 per month to do the same thing.

It also will allow you to implement both Historical Visitor Tracking, providing page by page navigation details with the time spent at each page and Live Visitor Tracking with a special Chat Request function.

You can actually send out a request for Live Chat to any active visitor on your site. Nice feature to have. All of this can be licensed and installed at your site for under $500.00 USD for an unlimited number of Support Agents and unlimited available Departments: Sales, Tech Support, Billing, etc. Do not install Visitor Tracking, Agent Tracking, Support Reason Tracking or other features unless you have SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008. It works on both. To get all these features for a one time charge with source code is quite amazing. I will post screen shots and links later this week.
