customisation of xprice

Hello,
i am wondering if i can do the following:
i have already set xprice0 to the value of 'pre order' so that any product priced at 0 shows up with that message.

i now need to have some products show up the message 'contact us for prices' rather than the price or the message 'preorder'.

i cant just replace the xprice0 value as i need that to use 'pre order'

does anyone know how i can do it

Hi Martin,

the best way to do this is to create a separate product template for these contact us for prices products. Just remove the price and order button code and replace this with your message (create a new language record if you're using other languages) It saves all the hassle of delving into the code and is far easier to revert back to the original product template when required. If you want any help with a new template just ask.
