It's certainly not something that you can do easily with VP-ASP, you would need to run a SQL query to find out which customers have bought the products, then take a note of the customer ids, set up a mail template for your message and then send the mail to checked customers. I have set up temporary (no security) admin pages for these kind of queries that I have to run occasionally (on an Access db) and I've got one that provides the information needed for finding out who bought what products by typing in the catalogid.
