for some odd reasons my tmp_topseller.htm template will not read the [cdescription] variable. it will ready everything else, cname, cimage, etc.

anyone know why this might be?

Hi,

Are you using v6.50 of the cart? Is your top sellers display on the left or right side of the site? If you have moved it to the right and you are not using an ODBC connector for the database you will need to modify the file shopfileio.asp

Find the following code (line 444 approx):

if memcdescription<>"" then
fieldvalue=memcdescription
end if


Comment out the second line so that it reads:

if memcdescription<>"" then
'fieldvalue=memcdescription
end if

i'm using vpasp 6.5 and i have not moved the display. its still on the left side of the side. As a temporary measure i'm reading other4 to get the data i need...
