We have been emailing weekly newsletters to customer from VPASP 6.5 for about 8 weeks, using a simple HTML newsletter. We have become aware over the last couple of weeks that some customers are not getting their email.
VPASP indicates that the correct number of customers have been emailed, but only those towards the start of the customer file seem to be getting the mailout, ie those who are more recent customers are not receiving anything.
Initially we thought that filtering on the customers end may be blocking the email, but we set up a couple of dummy customer files with no filtering in place, and these are not being delivered either. If we go to the end of the customer list and select these dummy customers to receive the email they get them, so the problem only occurrs if we do a mailout to all customers. We only email customers who have indicated they want to receive email, so I don't think that this is the problem.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be happening ?

This could be a problem with your hosts blocking multiple emails being sent out.

For newsletters you are far better off using a dedicated company such as graphicmail or similar. VP is not good with handling newsletters.
