Dear Members We have more than 5 websites in VPASP and we are using MYSQL with that - we ran some security checks into VPASP website and found this problem "The remote database server is susceptible to multiple attacks. The version of MySQL apparently installed on the remote host is reportedly affected by a denial of service vulnerability that can lead to a server crash with a specially-crafted password packet. It is also affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability because 'CREATE TABLE LIKE' does not require any privileges on the source table, which allows an attacker to create arbitrary tables using the affected application." Solution: The vendor has released MySQL 5.0.45 to address these issues. Upgrade to MySQL version 5.0.45 or later. So we are using mysql VERSION of 5.037, so my QUESTION is if we will upgrade MYSQL version from 5.037 to 5.045 then will it be any problem to the Existing website of VPASP ? or do we need to change any thing once we UPGRADE the version of MYSQL ?????? Looking forward to hear from you Many Thanks
