Ok Guys, there's an error somewhere and I can't determine for sure if the error lies with me or with VPASP.
I have the following setup:
xtaxbyproduct = empty xtaxcountryname = UK xtaxcountryrates = .15 xtaxeu = Yes xtaxeucountries = UK xtaxeurate = .15 xtaxexcludeproducts = Empty xtaxexcludeproductsdb = Empty xtaxfreeproducts = Yes xtaxincludedinprice = Yes xtaxincludediscount = Yes xtaxincludeshipping = Yes xtaxshippingstate = No xtaxstatename = Empty xtaxstaterates = Empty
I have a product for which the retail price is £90 and a delivery fee of £10.
Total order value = £100
VPASP calculates the inclusive VAT Amount as £14.89.
This is incorrect, if the £100 includes VAT at 15%, the VAT amount should be shown as £13.04
(Example... £86.96 + VAT at 15% = £100)
If I go one step further and change xtaxincludedinprice to "No", the system should calculate the order value of £100 + VAT at 15% and arrive at a total value of £115... but it doesn't... it's showing £117.50.... that is to say it appears to be calculating VAT at 17.5% if I specify that xtaxincludedinprice = No despite the fact I've got ".15" specified as the tax rate.
Help?
