Probably an easy answer but I couldn't find it
We set up VP-ASP inside a directory called "store" so that the actual URL is http;//www.domain.com/store. I also have successfully included the minicart on the actual homepage of the site http://www.domain.com/index.asp by including the shop$db.asp, etc. and it displays properly. Problem is that the path to "View Cart" and "Checkout" is wrong because of the directory structure... instead of the "View Cart" linking to http://www.domain.com/store/shopaddtocart.asp, it links to http://www.domain.com/shopaddtocart.asp (which makes sense considering the directory structure).
I came up with a quick fix, which seems messy to keep track of, which is to create bogus shopaddtocart.asp and shopcustomert.asp files on the server in the web root, and then set up IIS redirects to redirect them to store/shopaddtocart.asp and store/shopaddtocart.asp.
So, I was wondering if there is an easier way to accomplish what I want other than my other idea, which would be to create another sub that mimics the existing minicart sub with the path corrected to include the "store" directory. Seems like a lot of work. ' Anyone else run across this, or is everyone using the VP-ASP directory as the web root? |
