 customer having no confirmation from the site

I've had an order from a customer and he mailed saying he's had no confirmation from the site... and again, his details have no password and I can't make the remail fuction work.
why it happened so? can anybody tell me?

Hi Jinesh,

One possibility is the customer did not return to the shopthanks.asp page after completed the order. Other reason might be your email misconfiguration, to ensure your outgoing email is working, you can use shoptellafriend.asp page to send an email to yourself, if the email reach your inbox, which mean your outgoing email is working.

Sometime the email might fall into customer spam mail folder as well.

The customer details only have password if you have set Xpassword:Yes. If the Xpassword is No, customer will not be able to enter the password. They will be using Last name and Email to login.

If you wish to resend the email to customer, you can make use of the "Finalizing" feature. To do this, login to your administration and go to Everyday Tasks > Orders > View Orders. Click the
View button next to the order you wish to finalize, then click the Finalize Order button.
