Is there a way to list custom made gift certificates in the product categories? Far as i can tell, you cannot, but we need them referencable where employee's can check on the balance of one and what not. Please advise. We are using v 6.5 plus.

Hi James,

I'm currently busy with the same thing. I thought my support points would cover the question to where VPASP actually answered "Which functions runs and what is the process in code that happens for a gift certificate to be processed"

Their answer was they could give me a quote for customization... then they deduct support points for that which is totally useless.

I will post my own customization here *soon* hopefully.

Hi James,

While you cannot view gift certificates in categories we do have a page that allows you to check the remaining balance of a certificate.

http://www.yourdomain.com/shopcustadmingift.asp?howmuch=true

If you insert your gift certificate number it will tell you how much is still outstanding.

Thanks
Cam

Is there a way to edit or update this amount on this page, say as an admin function with out having to actually login to the whole admin section?
