I get the following error after moving my website to a new server, I read somewhere here that it was a permission issue, but not where I needed to change permissions, I am using MYSQL and have even added a new user and changed it in config file, but still get the following error. Please help.
http://elementmultisport.com/shop/default2.asp
ADODB.Connection error '800a0e78'
Operation is not allowed when the object is closed.
/shop/shop$db.asp, line 1428
Thanks, Bryan

BUMP ! ! !
I am still fighting this problem.
Here are some added information.
1) I was running this on Windows Server 2003, now it is running on Server 2008 - anyone know to run this on Server 2008 ?
2) using the database connection diagnose http://elementmultisport.com/shop/diag_dbtest.asp I can not get it to work using any settings.
3) I am using MySQL 5.0.67 version of MySQL
4) I have tried it with ODBC using MySQL driver which tests ok and I still get the some errors.
5) I have rebuilt permissions of my MySQL database and can run queries and phpmyadmin on it just fine.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Bryan

Why not the help desk, well because I signed up as a VPASP reseller, then sold my client a license and doing the right thing I put it in my clients name. Now its a huge pain to file a support ticket, I guess I could register with all his info and then go open his email through my server, but I hate doing that.
Strangely enough I can get it to work using ODBC connection on Server 2008 (downloading the driver from MySQL) using all the same user name and password, but I still can not manage to connect using MySQL connection directly. I am also having an issue with the ShopRandomProduct.asp file on the home page http://elementmultisport.com/shop/default2.asp Line 205 is "rs.Open sqlstr,conn,3,3" and I really would like to eliminate using ODBC for the connection.
Any Help Appreciated.
