I am working on to create second navigation under the main one.
I have to create multi language site.
So I need to hand-code in the hmt.

When I see the following code, I understand the first part.
<a href="shopcontent.asp?type=privacy"><%=Server.HTMLEncode(getlang("langcommonprivacy"))%></a>

But I don't know how to create the second part. <%=Server.HTMLEncode(getlang("langcommonprivacy"))%></a>

If my menu is called "Our partner", I don't know what I need to do with "langcommonprivacy".
This must be related to the language file. But after that I just have no clue.
Can anyone help me please.

If you have a content record called Our Partner, then you need to provide a translation for the content by editing the Our Partner record and click the Add new translation button. Once you have done this you can create a new language record called langcommonpartner, provide translations for this record and use it in the navigation.
The second part of the link displays the translated text to click that the customer will see.

Thanks carfin.

What is the difference langcommonxxxxx and langproductxxxxx etc. Is there any rule I need to follow? Or can I create a completely new, such as mypartner? Or I have to add lang at the front?

Thanks.

the langcommonwhatever is used to distinguish between translations that are used frequently throughout the site and translations that are used specifically on a particular page. Best to keep the 'lang' at the front so that they are easy to find.
