 Problem With Displaying Product on Front Page		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

Hi There

This is my Home page: http://fit4sports.sitepreview.co.uk/default.asp

i am using tmp_defult.htm as a template for home page.....i used "[Add_randomproducts]" in the template to display random products on front end..

But now i want my self to select products for dislplay on front end

So i changed:
Xfrontpagefield:= frontpage
Xfrontpagevalue:= sale

So for this product: ( ccode= ACU001G ) i used in frontpage = sale

So now it should display on front end.. but still its not displaying the product on front end which i want...

If i choose Xfrontpagevalue= random then it works.... but doesnt work when i choose Xfrontpagevalue="sale"

Can you please tell me what mistake i am doing

Hi Saqib

Make sure these fields are set as follows:

xfrontpagefield: frontpage
xfrontpagerandomfield: frontpage
xfrontpagerandomvalue: Yes
xfrontpagevalue: sale

In the product records
Front page: sale (don't use quote marks "")

I've just tried this on our test site using tmp_default.htm and it works fine

I have 12 images I want to display randomly in the frontpage. But only 6 of them each time.

I set it up as above, it display only 6 and they are fixed, not changing.

Is there any way I can change these 6 images out of 12 images?

In your administration page, set the xfrontpagemaxrecords:12
