Don't know if this will help anyone but we have just included it in our site and it makes things easier for visitors.

If you have a page with a lot of products displayed you can create a link to a specific product by creating an anchor to the product on the shopdisplayproducts page so you can display all products but still highlight the one you want seen.

Open tmp_productformat.htm and at the very top insert the following:

<a name=[catalogid]></a>

Your link will now look like:

www.yoursite.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=10#100

The 10 is the category id and the 100 after the hash is the product id. Change as required.

This will allow you to pin point the product no matter where on the page it is located.

For example:
http://www.yourvirtualstore.net/rocksalt_v.5/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=13&cat=VPASP+Extensions#115
