Hello, newbie here. We have been running VPASP for about a year now. I finally switched from the text based customer email to the html customer email.

I have dollar signs in front of certain values so they do not display if the field is empty. Well the $ are showing up even if there is something there. Like $[oshipname] shows up in the email as $Tom.

It used to work with the text version but now I'm stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

make sure that the $ is the very first character on the line in your template, eg you'd have:

$<b>Ship to name:</b> [oshipname]

and *not*

<b>Ship to name:</b> $[oshipname]

and also you need to make sure that only one template field is on a given line for the $ trick to work
