How does it work?
The VP-CART Fraud Alert system runs from within your admin. When looking at an order the merchant will be able to view the likelihood of an order being fraudulent, by clicking on the Fraud Alert link the pop-up window shown above will appear.
On this page, you will see a summary of the different criteria we check against and an overall fraud score.
Based on this score you can decide on which action is the most appropriate whether it be calling the customer to confirm whether it is legitimate, sending the order or even just issuing a refund with no loss to yourself!
We recommend calling any customer you are suspicious of and verifying the order. Make sure the customer provides you with a landline or an accessible mobile number!
