Gaining PCI Compliance with an Integrated Gateway

The process for gaining PCI Certification will differ from business to business. Generally speaking, however, the process for setting up VP-ASP and gaining PCI compliance with an integrated gateway solution is likely to include the steps below.

Step 1. Set up your online store and merchant facility
Step 2. Choose a PCI Compatible integrated gateway provider
Step 3. Make modifications to VP-ASP and your server environment to comply with PCI
Step 4. Appoint a PCI Auditor (such as Hackersafe) to check your website
Step 5. Fill out the self assessment questionnaire
Step 6. Make any additional modifications as requested by PCI and/or your auditor
