18th January 2012 - Breaking news! - New Mobile Interface finally live

After much delay we have finally released our new VPASP Mobile Storefront.

The first run is available for VPASP hosting customers only but we will be releasing the mobile store into the wild soon!

To configure you just log into the admin, select a template, upload your logo and you are ready to go!

24th October 2011 - Version 7.xx - Vulnerability in Admin - SQL Server

We have had a report that users running SQL Server have a SQL Injection vulnerability.

This is an urgent update for all VPASP 7.0 users who use SQL Server and who have not as yet renamed their admin files.

Please ensure your admin folder is renamed as this will immediately stop hackers from exploiting your admin.

If you are hosting with VPASP we have applied the updates for you already. Please download the patch to ensure you have a copy of the files to be updated stored locally.

22nd September 2011 - Security Patches applied to all VPASP hosting customers

If you host with VPASP then you can ignore the security patch advisory as we have installed this for you already.

Please download a copy of the checkadmin.asp file from the Editor/assetmanager folder to your local computer.

For all other customers not hosting with us we strongly recommend you download and apply this patch to your store ASAP.

21st September 2011 - Plus and Deluxe Version 700 - Vulnerability in Asset Manager

We have had a report that the 3rd party HTML Editor used in the admin has a vulnerability.

Please ensure your admin folder is renamed as this will immediately stop hackers from exploiting your admin.

Most merchants have already done this so you are already safe and can wait until the patch is released without taking further action.

8th September 2011 - Hackers make life hard for UPS and merchants around the world

Hackers recently hit UPS and a number of other high profile sites around the world.

While the original issue is resolved there is an on-going issue with retrieving rates from UPS real-time.

We have released a patch to get around this problem so if you are using UPS for shipping please visit the UPS Hack Fix Patch page.

This is not a security update for VPASP so if you are not using UPS you can just ignore this.

29th June 2011 - Newsletter Campaign module - Calling all beta testers

After many requests from customers to integrate VP-ASP with a newsletter campaign system we can proudly announce we have partnered with Campaign Monitor to allow VP-ASP merchants to extract mailing lists and easily generate newsletters.

We are looking for beta testers for this new module are using VPASP 7.xx on thier site. So we can ensure the install process is working as it should we will actually install this module for you into the first 10 beta tester sites.

17 February 2011 - VP-ASP now integrates to Peachtree through CartSpan!

CartSpan is an easy-to-use bi-directional interface for Peachtree Accounting that will import orders from VP-ASP and update item prices and quantities-on-hand in the cart. This frees you of the burden of re-keying order information into the accounting system and helps prevent the over-committing of inventory to Web customers.

3 October 2010 - Update Pac for VPASP 7.0 Released!

We have finally released the Update Pac for VP-ASP 7.0. This is a FREE download for all VP-ASP 7.0 users so even if your license has expired you can still download the new Update Pac

There are over 30 enhancements included and based on customer feedback we have fixed a number of bugs within the system.

We recommend everyone download the new Update Pac and install into their store.
